Penyuluhan Kesehatan dengan Metode Pemutaran Video untuk Meningkatkan Pengetahuan PHBS pada Penghuni Panti Asuhan

Abstract

Orphanage residents are one group of people who need attention to achieve a level of health both individually and as a group through learning so that there is an increase in knowledge, attitudes, and positive behavior in the health sector. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge of clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) of the residents of the Peduli Harapan Bangsa 2 Orphanage. The activity is carried out through health education using the video screening method. The success of this activity is measured by increasing PHBS knowledge before and after being given health education using the video playback method. The results of the data analysis showed that there was an increase in the average knowledge score before and after health education was 6.15 (63.08 to 69.23), but statistically, this increase was not significant (p-value=0.341). Conclude that there has been an increase in the PHBS knowledge of the residents of the Orphanage at the Peduli Harapan Bangsa 2 Orphanage through health education using the video playback method. To monitor and develop PHBS for orphanage residents, similar activities with different topics and materials are needed which are carried out periodically and continuously.
