PROTEKSI DIRI DI ERA PANDEMI DENGAN MENERAPKAN PROTOKOL KESEHATAN DI PANTI ASUHAN BUSSAINA KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN 2021

Abstract

ABSTRACT

COVID-19 has emerged since the beginning of 2020, when the virus has spread throughout the world. COVID-19 is a disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus which is part of the Corona virus type. This virus can be transmitted if we come in direct contact with an infected person or with fluids secreted by coughing and sneezing. To prevent transmission, it is necessary to implement the so-called health protocol. Health protocols are the rules and regulations that all parties need to follow in order to be able to carry out activities safely during the COVID-19 pandemic. The health protocol was formed with the aim that the community can continue to do activities safely and not endanger the safety or health of others. The purpose of this activity is to provide self-protection education and help implement it in the orphanage. The method used in this activity is counseling about self-protection against the incidence of COVID-19 by implementing health protocols at the Bussaina Orphanage. The implementation of the activity was assisted by students of FK Malahayati University in Bandar Lampung on April 7, 2021. The result of this activity was an increase in children's knowledge about how to apply good and correct health protocols in order to realize protecting themselves from the Covid 19 virus .

ABSTRAK

COVID-19 timbul sejak awal tahun 2020, dimana virus ini menyerang hingga ke seluruh dunia. COVID-19 adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus SARS-CoV-2 yang merupakan bagian dari tipe virus Corona. Virus ini bisa menular jika kita kontak langsung dengan orang yang terinfeksi atau dengan cairan yang dikeluarkannya oleh saat batuk dan bersin. Untuk mencegah penularan,perlu diterapkan yang namanya protokol kesehatan. Protokol kesehatan adalah aturan dan ketentuan yang perlu diikuti oleh segala pihak agar dapat beraktivitas secara aman pada saat pandemi COVID-19 ini. Protokol kesehatan dibentuk dengan tujuan agar masyarakat tetap dapat beraktivitas secara aman dan tidak membahayakan keamanan atau kesehatan orang lain.Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk memberikan edukasi proteksi diri dan membantu menerapkannya di dalam panti asuhan. Metode yang di gunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu penyuluhan tentang proteksi diri terhadap kejadian COVID-19 dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan di Panti Asuhan Bussaina. Pelaksanaan kegiatan di bantu oleh mahasiswa FK Universitas Malahayati Bandar Lampung pada 07 April 2021. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan anak-anak tentang bagaimana cara menerapkan protokol kesehatan yang baik dan benar guna untuk mewujudkan menjaga diri dari virus Covid 19.
