Abstract

Background : In Indonesia, the incidence of fractures in the lower extremities due to accidents has the highest prevalence among other fractures, namely around 67.9%. Of the 92,976 people with lower extremity fractures due to accidents, 19,754 people had fractures of the femur, 14,027 people had fractures of the crussis, 3,775 people had fractures of the tibia, 970 people had fractures of the small bones of the foot and 337 people had fractures of the fibula. Early mobilization is an action to help sufferers get out of bed and walk. This treatment is one of the factors that influences post-surgical wound healing and can reduce the risk of complications. Mobilization is very important in speeding up treatment days and reducing risks due to prolonged bed rest. Such as decubitus, muscle strength or tension throughout the body and blood circulation and breathing are disturbed, as well as peristalsis and urination disorders. By knowing the factors related to the implementation of early mobilization in post-femur fracture surgery patients, it is hoped that it can accelerate healing in post-femur fracture surgery patients.

Purpose: This study is to determine the factors associated with the implementation of early mobilization in post-operative femur fracture patients at RSUD dr. Hi. Abdul Moeloek, Lampung Province.

Methods: The study used a cross sectional sample approach using the Accidental Sampling technique. The population was all post-operative patients with femur fractures at RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek, Lampung Province, 60 patients, a sample of 52 respondents. Data collection used a questionnaire sheet and data analysis used the Chi-Square test.

Results: The research results show that there is a relationship between family support and the level of mobilization independence (p=0.020). OR 5.752, which means that patients who receive 'good' support from the family have a 5.752 chance of being independent in mobilization compared to patients who receive 'bad' support,

Conclusion: The conclusion of this study was that the majority of post-operative patients with Femue Fractures at RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province in 2023, is in the age range 17-35 years (42 people: 80.8%).
