PENGARUH GUIDED IMAGERY TERHADAP PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DI RUMAH SAKIT

Abstract


The problem in this research is that there are still many cases of hypertension in Bengkulu City Hospital. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of guided imagery on reducing blood pressure in hypertension sufferers at Bengkulu City Hospital. This research design uses a quasi-experiment using pre and post test design. The sample in this study consisted of 10 people. The data used is primary data and secondary data. The analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis, the statistical test used was the T test. The average value of blood pressure before guided imagery was carried out in hypertension sufferers was 166.00 mmHg and the average value of blood pressure after guided imagery was carried out in hypertension sufferers was 155.90 mmHg. It was concluded that there was an effect of guided imagery on reducing blood pressure in hypertension sufferers (p = 0.000).
